Tuffted Titmouse

This bird is named the Tuffted Titmouse because of it's tuft of feathers on the top of it's head.

House Wren

This is a house wren. It is a much appriciated species of this school! Even though it's name is much like the species we are trying to get rid of.

Blue Bird

This is a Blue Bird. It is named after the blue color it flashes as it flies and when it perches on branches.

House Sparrow

This is a house sparrow. We are trying to get rid of this invasive species of birds.

Tree Swallow

A common swallow of marshes and open fields, the Tree Swallow is a ready inhabitant of nest boxes. Thier nests are mosty neat and organised. They feed on small bugs and they uses many feathers from other birds in its nest. The feathers help keep the nestlings warm so they can grow faster. They help keep levels of ectoparasites, like mites, low too

Chickadee

    This is a chickadee:).
It is a very interesting bird. It is named Chikadee because of its call that goes,"Chika-dee-dee-dee!".
Chikadees are very small birds. In this picture it looks a little big...but it is really very small.
This Chikadee is called the Black-capped Chikadee because of the black marks on its head.=P
